Renewal
Adding time to the line you already have
A renewal moves the expiry date on your existing account outwards. Nothing about the login shifts with it - same host, same username, same password - which is the whole point: no television, phone or box in the house has to be opened again.
Renewals are applied by a person, not by a robot. A new subscription is built automatically the moment payment settles; a renewal is deliberately not, because the only automatic route available would issue you a different username and leave your current one running beside it. Pay here and the renewal is queued against your existing line, extended on the panel, and confirmed back to you. It is not instant, and this page would rather say so than pretend otherwise.
Use the same email address you originally ordered with. That is what connects the payment to the line that has to be extended. Ordering under a different address produces a second, separate subscription instead.
Username and password unchanged No device needs reconfiguring Time added to what is left, not replacing it
Not sure which address the account uses? Ask support with the order number from the original confirmation and it can be looked up. If you want to know why nothing has to be touched on your devices afterwards, what a renewal actually does to a line explains the mechanics.
